What these terms cover
These Terms cover the ArtDeck website, roadmap voting, support communications, and the parts of the ArtDeck app experience that are operated by Alexandre Alves, an independent developer based in France.
The app license itself is handled through the App Store. ArtDeck relies on Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps downloaded from the App Store.
App Store license
When you download ArtDeck from the App Store, your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Standard EULA, opens in a new tab. We do not provide a custom EULA.
These Terms do not replace Apple's Standard EULA. They add plain-English rules for ArtDeck-specific things such as your content, support, website use, roadmap voting, and third-party services used by app features.
What ArtDeck is
ArtDeck is a reference board app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It lets you collect and arrange images, links, notes, GIFs, videos, PDFs, drawings, and other files on visual boards.
You may use ArtDeck for personal work, professional creative work, education, research, and client projects, as long as your use is lawful and respects the rights of others.
Purchases and refunds
ArtDeck is sold through the App Store as a one-time purchase. Apple handles payment processing, taxes, regional pricing, purchase history, family sharing where available, and refunds.
To request a refund or report a purchase issue, use reportaproblem.apple.com, opens in a new tab.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to ArtDeck. We do not claim ownership of your boards, images, links, notes, PDFs, videos, drawings, or other files.
You are responsible for the content you choose to collect, import, save, export, or share. Do not use ArtDeck to infringe someone else's rights, to distribute unlawful content, or to bypass access restrictions on content you do not have permission to use.
Sync, imports, and third-party services
Optional iCloud sync uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit services. Your iCloud account, storage, sync availability, and iCloud data controls are managed by Apple.
Some ArtDeck features work with third-party websites or providers because you ask the app to fetch a URL preview or import remote media. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Website and roadmap voting
You may use the ArtDeck website for product information, documentation, press resources, privacy and legal pages, and roadmap voting.
Please do not interfere with the website, attempt to bypass rate limits, manipulate votes, probe systems without permission, or use the site in a way that harms ArtDeck or other visitors.
Support and availability
ArtDeck is offered as available. We care about keeping it useful and maintained, but we cannot promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future device, operating system, website, or third-party service.
We may update the app or website to fix issues, improve features, adapt to platform changes, or protect users. If a major change materially affects existing access, we will try to give reasonable notice where practical.
Legal limits
To the extent permitted by law, ArtDeck is provided without warranties beyond those required by applicable consumer protection law. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of ArtDeck.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under French, EU, or other applicable consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as ArtDeck changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your use of ArtDeck, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, except where mandatory local consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be changed by these Terms.
